ALBAWABA – A model has become the talk of the internet after a video was shared showing her performing a runway show during the funeral of a fashion designer.
Model Erica L. Carrington posted a video of herself on her official Instagram account while she was making her way down a red carpet during the funeral of her “deceased friend” and fashion designer, Vernest Moore of Newark, New Jersey.
The runway walk was performed while the body of the fashion designer Vernest Moore was resting in a golden casket.
On Instagram, Carrington wrote: “I was hyperventilating almost up until the VERY MOMENT I hit the runway.
To say that this was one of THEE MOST CHALLENGING things I have had to do would be an understatement.
I CAN’T BELIEVE this would be my final walk for you, so I WON’T! From now on…even if I’m not walking FOR YOU, I’ll be walking WITH YOU, because I know you’ll ALWAYS be with me.”

After the video went viral in a very short time, the model posted a new photo of herself from the funeral and said: “Well Vernest, I guess we’ve gone viral. My IG post of my final walk for you at your red carpet viewing home going service is at almost 230K views. They are really carrying in those comments though, ’cause people be “peoplelin’”.”
“Even with that being said, I did have quite a few favorites, like when someone commented that “if all the people at his home going are not going walk down the aisle LIKE THAT…they should stay home.” I took that as a sign that I made you proud.”
A social media user shockingly said: “Finding out this was a fashion designer’s funeral, she’s wearing his design and this is what he wanted makes this kinda beautiful to me idk???”
Another added: “A grand ceremony! New Jersey Fashion designer #VernestMoore was laid to rest with a fashion show funeral.”
