I LOVE jackets. It’s kind of a problem. I have more jackets and coats than anything else. I guess it’s a good thing we live in Colorado so I can really enjoy them. The jacket is the 3rd layer that I always talk about that can totally pull your whole look together AND slim your midsection, hips, and butt.
I wanted to share my favorite jackets from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year! This is a great sale to get some fun coats and jackets but, don’t forget your BASICS. There are a ton of basics in the sale that are really terrific. They might not be as exciting, but they are actually much more important to your wardrobe. The jackets I’m featuring below are my favorites…

Leather Blazer
There are SO many good faux leather blazers in the sale this year. I tried on a few of them and personally think the Good American one is the best option and highest quality. The more tailored fit is amazing but it’s not TOO tailored so you still get that more casual feel. I styled it with jeans in my NSale Outfits post (linked above) but I’ll wear this with basic blue jeans, dresses, and skirts for fall.

Perfect Leather Jacket
AllSaints is known for their super high-quality leather jackets and they’re in the NSale every year. If you don’t already have a classic black leather jacket, this one is a lovely option! The fit is great, there’s minimal hardware, and it’s a nice weight for fall. It’s a little pricier ($330) but you’ll wear it for YEARS and the price goes up to $499 after the sale.

Sporty Jacket
I love to have those cute sporty jacket you can throw on over your workout clothes to and from the gym or just to grab a coffee with friends. And this Zella jacket is perfect for that! I love the utilitarian look, the pretty olive green color, and cool puffer and knit panels. It’s $86 now and $129 after the sale.

Athleisure Must-Have
If you want something a little less sporty that you might be able to even wear with jeans, this Blanc Noir jacket is SO good. I bought it and have already worn it with activewear but it’s one of those cool jackets you can throw on for a casual look. The fit is nice, the color is pretty, and it has a cool hidden zipped hood at the collar. It’s $119 now and $179 after the sale.

Cropped Blazer
This cropped faux leather blazer by Steve Madden is definitely one I’m adding to cart! It’s a really great price ($60 during the sale, $89 after) and it comes in black too. The cropped length is great for petites and I can’t wait to style this with jeans and dresses this fall.

Dickey Blazer
I had my eye on is this gorgeous faux leather khaki blazer by Veronica Beard and loved it when I tried it on in store. The color is so beautiful, it’s a little longer but not too oversized, and it includes the zip in/zip out dickey. During the sale is $640 and after the sale it’s $958…which is pricey, but the color is SO versatile you’ll get your cost/per wear this fall for sure!

Blazer With A Twist
A classic black blazer is a must-have but if you already have that covered, consider adding some blazers into your closet that are unique and fun. I love that this black blazer by Cece has fun puff shoulders! It’s $86 now and $129 after the sale.

Sporty Blazer
This Blanc Noir blazer jacket is such a cool, sporty option for anyone who has a more casual lifestyle. It’s has leather trim, a hood, and geometric details on the back. It comes in white and black, both of which are gorgeous. It’s $125 during the sale and $189 after the sale ends. It would be a great piece to wear with jeans and a tee for a casual dinner or running errands.

Classic Leather Jacket
If you’re looking for a classic leather jacket during the sale this year, this one is SO gorgeous! I love the brown color called ‘Saddle’ but it also comes in black if that’s more your style. The length is perfect and the hardware is very minimal. It is real leather so it’s a higher price point at $230 during the sale and $379 after.

Cool Cropped Jacket
I love the look of this white cropped jacket by Rails! It’s the perfect casual 3rd layer you can throw on to pull your look together. The color is also really pretty and unexpected for fall. It’s $200 now and $288 after the sale.
