When winter shows her wintry face, I go straight into snuggly mode. As soon as the temperature drops, I want to wear my most comfortable clothing. There’s nothing like UGG boots for cozy comfort, but they can be a little pricey. Today, I’m sharing awesome UGG boots and less expensive lookalikes. It will be up to you to decide if you splurge or save.
I love this cross between a UGG boot and a wedge. They give you the comfort and coziness of a UGG boot but with a little extra style! I grabbed these last year, but unfortunately, this style isn’t available anymore. Luckily, I’ve found a great alternative option and linked that for you.
The Best UGG Boots and Less Expensive Lookalikes – Platform Boot
How fun is this platform boot?! This has a 2-inch base for a bit of height, and the shaft hits right around the ankle. It comes in black, tan, and sand. These run true to size, but remember that they are slip-on and don’t have a zipper closure if that’s an issue for you.
These look very similar, right? Obviously, they aren’t the UGG brand so that they won’t be the same quality, but they are around half the price. And, of course, unlike the others, they have a zipper, which makes for easy slip on and off.
The Best UGG Boots and Less Expensive Lookalikes – Non-Platform Boot
These were the “IT” boots to have last year. They were so popular that you couldn’t find them in stores because they sold out so quickly. They look the same as the pair above but without the platform. I figured some might prefer the non-platform version even though the platform ones are “IT” this year. Lol!
I have several pairs of UGG boots, and I love wearing mine, mostly around the house when I’m cold. Because I couldn’t find the UGG minis in my size last year, I bought this pair, and I loved them. They didn’t look the most stylish with my witch costume on Halloween, but my toes were sure glad I put them on since it was in the 30s. They run true to size.
The Best UGG Boots and Less Expensive Lookalikes – UGG Tall Boot
These are the classic Ugg tall boots you’ve probably seen on every Hollywood celebrity. As usual, they are suede with sheepskin on the inside. The shaft is slightly over 11 inches tall, and these have a smaller heel than the first pair.
And here is a pair that’s very similar in shape and color. I’m a fan of the natural tan color of Uggs, but these are available in grey, black, brown, and others as well. These have over 3,000 reviews and 4.6 stars, so many people are happy with the less expensive version.
The Best UGG Boots and Less Expensive Lookalikes- Ugg Sneakers
I love this play on the high-top sneaker! How cute would these be with a pair of jeans or leggings? These have a zipper on the other side that runs the length of the shoelaces, which makes them even easier to put on. As partial as I am to this color, I also like the olive and black versions.
These are obviously not exactly the same, but they certainly give off the same vibe. The upper is a water-resistant leather, and they are lace-up with no zipper detail. Still, they are much cheaper at under $35 dollars. Not bad, plus they come in a few other colors.
The Best UGG Boots and Less Expensive Lookalikes – Adirondack Boot
While most of the Uggs I like are all about the comfort level, these are for when you’re actually outside in harsh weather conditions. These have a full leather upper and wool lining. Of course, the real star of the show is their functionality. They are rated to -32 degrees.
North Face is no slouch when it comes to rugged boots. These don’t list the temperature rating, but the reviewers say that they kept their feet very warm. You should size up as these tend to run small. They are not inexpensive but are considerably less expensive than the Uggs.
The Best UGG Boots and Less Expensive Lookalikes – Ugg Neumel Boot
I did not know what “neumel” meant, but according to the Ugg site, it’s “our iconic heritage chukka.” Then I looked up “chukka”. lol. And it means “usually ankle-high leather boot with two or three pairs of eyelets or a buckle and strap.” So it’s their iconic ankle boot with three eyelets. You learn something new every day! All I know is that it’s a cute boot and comes in over 15 colors, including hot pink!
Here’s the thing. I couldn’t find a cheaper off brand of the Neumel, but I found a cheaper actual UGG boot. It looks so similar to the other, but it’s basically half! It only comes in 5 colors, so if you want the hot pink version, you’ll have to go full price.
The Best UGG Boots and Less Expensive Lookalikes – Mini Bailey Bow
This is a slightly more feminine Ugg boot with silky bows at the back. These come in some fun colors, like blue, pink, and purple. They all have fur inside that’s dyed the same color. These would be a sweet Christmas gift for the comfort loving gurl in your life.
Here’s a similar boot, but sadly, it doesn’t come in any fun colors. If you’re looking for black, tan, and grey, you’re in luck, but there’s no pink, purple, or mint in this version. They do have nice fur and bows on the back. Another plus? They are a quarter of the cost of the Ugg version.
The Best UGG Boots and Less Expensive Lookalikes – Short Boot
This is similar to the Ugg tall boot, except, you guessed it, it’s shorter. These are pretreated to help keep them looking nice against moisture and staining, and they have fur inside for warmth. I found these at Nordstrom, and they have 5 other colors if you’re interested.
One of the nice things about this boot is that you can roll down the top and expose the lining. It gives you a different look if you don’t like where the shaft hits your leg. You can pair these with all sorts of items – jeans, leggings, dresses, etc. And with these, you won’t break the bank.
The Best UGG Boots and Less Expensive Lookalikes – Rabbit Fur
The Ugg Rabbit Classic boots are gorgeous! Of course, I love the fur, but the buttons are a nice detail, too. They have a sole that works for both indoor and outdoor use. I like this color, but they are also available in black and dark brown. They come with a special coating that helps resist dirt and water intrusion.
What do you think of this similar version from a different brand? They are SO much cheaper. If you’re looking for a boot that will stand the test of time, you will want to go with the Uggs. But if you want something fun for a couple of seasons, then these are a great option!
Let me know your favorites. I’m pretty excited that there are so many inexpensive options.
